The North Jersey Avalanche Travel Hockey Program is a proud member of the Atlantic Youth Hockey league, New Jersey Youth Hockey League, Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association, and USA Hockey.  Since its inception in 1999 the Avalanche have helped developed hundreds of youth hockey players many of which have gone on to successful high school, prep school, junior, college, and professional careers.

Our professional coaches bring a wealth of experience on the ice and behind the bench.  This experience has been instrumental in the success of our players and our teams.  Over the years our teams have won numerous league and district titles.  In 2005 our Peewee AAA Major team was crowned National Champions in Fairbanks, Alaska and in 2010 our Midget 16 AAA National team was crowned National Silver Medalists in Woodbridge, Illinois.

The Avalanche field AAA teams in the highly competitive AYHL, one of the strongest youth hockey leagues in the country.  These teams also compete in high level tournaments in Boston, Chicago, Detroit, and other hockey hotbeds.

The Avalanche also participate at the Tier II level in the NJYHL.  The NJYHL is one of the largest youth hockey leagues in the country offering AA, A, and B level hockey from Mite-Midget.  Avalanche teams in this league will play in tourrnaments on the East Coast as well as non league games in the tri state area.
